Design with polygonal geometric animals

Trend of the season - manicure with polygonal geometric animals. The simplest way to accomplish this design is with the help of ready-made stickers - sliders. To complete this design, we will need:

• Base for gel-polish;
• Top, suitable for fixing the slider-design;
• Colored gel-varnish;
• Slider design with 3D effect;
• Scissors;
• Paper napkin;
• Tweezers;
• Silicone brush;
• Liquid for removing the sticky layer;
• Lamp for polymerization of gel-polish

As a background, we chose black.

To get volumetric geometric drawings, we took a slider design with 3D effect from BPW (number (number 3d-102)

In order to fix the slider design with the 3D effect, you usually use the "wet base" method, but with a design that is not applied to the entire nail plate, you can use an easier method. To do this, you need to take the top, which is suitable for fixing the slider-design (this top should be viscous). We used the top from MollonPRO.

On a color coating, we apply a thin layer of top and polymerize in a lamp for 5 seconds. During this time, the top will grab a little, and after that there will be a good sticky layer, into which it is easy to "drown" the film with the design.

In parallel, we cut out the chosen design (we recommend doing this with a small indentation so that the volume elements can be easier to attach to the nail plate), put it in water for a few seconds, then remove the water with a dry paper napkin and put it on a sticky layer of top.

The film slides well over the sticky layer, so it is easy to smoothen, remove air bubbles and make sure that all the corners of the design fit snugly to the top. After that, dry it for a minute.

Then again take the top, press the brush well, so that excess material does not get between the volume elements and does not equalize the volume. We seal the design well. We dry.

If necessary, the last step can be repeated if you are not sure that you have succeeded in closing the design well the first time.

Remove the sticky layer.
