Summer manicure with fruits
A few years ago in the nail design industry, a manicure using fimo fruit was very popular. However, in use, they delivered a lot of problems, because the figurines were very dense and the craftsmen encountered difficulties when placing them on nails. Of course, the fashion for the summer manicure with fruit has not gone anywhere. Now, instead of the bright fimo figures in manicure, 3D sliders with a volume effect are actively used. In this article, we show examples of design with 3D fruit.
So, you will need:
- Base for gel-polish;
- Top;
- Liquid base for slider-design;
- Colored gel-polish;
- Slider design with 3D effect;
- Scissors;
- Water;
- Tweezers;
- Silicone brush;
- Liquid for removing the sticky layer;
- The buff;
- Lamp for polymerization of gel-varnish.
As usual, we first apply the base, and then cover the nails with a colored coating. Today we wanted a gently yellow shade, and since we did not have a ready gel-varnish, we mixed white (Cristina 1323) with yellow (Cristina 1452) and applied it in two layers.
For decoration, we chose a slider design with a volume effect from BPW (3d-85 mini number).
In order to consolidate this design, we used the "wet base" method. To do this, a thin layer of the base was applied, and a film with a design was laid on it, after removing the moisture from the slider. After that, smooth the slider on the cover and remove the air from under the film. Once the design will lie perfectly-dry.
The secod layer of the base is applied already on top of the design, but now we work more carefully: we apply the thin layer as much as possible so as not to align the relief of the design, but by the drawing itself we pass the maximum squeezed out brush. We dry and do the same with the top.
These are the options for summer design we have turned out.
