You will need the following tools to do this manicure:

1. Gel polish base (preferably not thick);

2. Colored gel polish (white or light colors);

3. Gel polish top (for example Mollon Pro HYBRID CARE SALON TREND UV/LED TOP COAT);

4. Slider design with any pattern you like;

5. Glass of water;

6. Paper napkin;

7. Silicone pusher or soft flat brush;

8. Pincers.

Apply the gel polish base on each nail, and then the colored gel polish on top. Since we use a slider design which requires a white base (otherwise the pattern will not be bright and will turn into a base color), it is recommended to apply a white gel polish. But still, small deviations from the white color are possible. In this case, we use the pale pink Cristina gel polish (color 1408), if desired, you may use other light colors, this will not affect the pattern. You can choose gel polihes in catlogue Gel Polish

Once the base color has dried, reapply the gel polish base. It is desirable that the base is not thick, it is better to apply a thin layer, so it will be easier to work with the slider, and besides it will not add much thickness to the coating. Next, we soak the slider design in water and soak it up with a paper napkin to remove excess water (when working with gel polish, water can affect the durability of the manicure). Apply “BPW.Style” slider-design (number 1-1028) on the wet base.

This type of design (design with individual patterns) is considered the easiest to work with; even the beginners will cope with it. This design does not need to be adjusted to the shape of the nail, it is easier to position it correctly on the nail plate, besides, and this design is less likely to peel off during the wearing, even if some errors were made during application.

The undried base layer will slightly “dissolve” the design film, and at first glance, it may seem that the design lies inaccurately, with a few wrinkles.

Do not pay attention to it; the next coating will correct these defects. To properly smooth the design to the nail plate and remove air from under the film, you can use a soft silicone pusher (for example Silicon Brushes JB №10), a soft flat brush or a finger wrapped in a white paper napkin. We do not advise to get carried away and move the design along the nail too much after you put it on the base. As we have already mentioned before, the base “dissolves” the film, making it viscous, and when you press heavily on the design or move it, you can easily smear the picture over the nail.

Once the slider is smoothed, dry it in the lamp and cover with another base layer, leveling out the small wrinkles on the design. After that, cover the manicure with the top (for example Mollon Pro HYBRID CARE SALON TREND UV/LED TOP COAT) and everything is ready.
